Happy Birthday Babyface

Cake decorations, balloons, confetti and other imperialist titbits available from Ocado - the least capitalist of supermarkets.

Today is Babyface’s birthday, so we’re celebrating with some ultimate chocolate cake, balloons, and Mavis Staples on the stereo. Revolutionary stuff.

Birthdays are sometimes bourgeois, but not on this particular occasion.

  1. Interesting question, comrade. All depends on what you’re prioritising. Do you want the shop to be owned by its customers or by its workers? Each represents a different model. Both are, of course, capitalist, in one way or another. But which offers us a more interesting representation of a model which could be taken into socialist society?
